Error "Unknown Server Error" or "Google Drive could not find the file you requested" When Accessing a View Connecting to Google Drive in Tableau Cloud

Kuvaus

When accessing a view or dashboard that connects to a file on Google Drive, the following error may occur:

"Unexpected Server Error"

or

"Google Drive could not find the file you requested"

Cause

The user accessing the view does not have Google Drive permissions to view the file.
Ratkaisu
Grant the affected user the permissions to view/connect to the file in Google Drive. This should allow the user to see the view successfully in Tableau Cloud.
