Error "code=28 msg='Timeout was reached' osCode=10060" When Connecting to Snowflake

Description

When connecting Tableau to Snowflake, the following error may occur:

[Snowflake][Snowflake] (25) Result download worker error: Worker error: [Snowflake][Snowflake] (4) REST request for URL <URL> failed: CURLerror (curl_easy_perform() failed) - code=28 msg='Timeout was reached' osCode=10060 osMsg='Unknown error'.

Cause

The use of a proxy is required by the Snowflake ODBC driver in your environment, but the proxy has not been configured in the connector dialog.
Résolution
Configure the required proxy parameters by entering them in the Advanced tab in the Snowflake connector dialog in Tableau Desktop, e.g.:
proxy=http://proxyserver.company:80
