Description

When attempting to refresh a published data source using the Data Extract Command-Line Utility with Tableau MFA on Tableau Cloud, the following error occurs: ​​

Cause

The Data Extract Command-Line Utility will not function when MFA is enforced with Tableau authentication in Tableau Cloud. 
 
Résolution
To workaround the issue, use the Tableau Bridge client. See Use Tableau Bridge for more information.

If you need to trigger refreshes to occur using a script, either use TabCMD with the refreshextracts command, or use the REST API and the Run Extract Refresh Task to initiate a refresh job.
