Error "Unable to subscribe [username]" When Subscribing a User to a Dashboard in Tableau Cloud

Description
When subscribing a user to a Tableau Cloud dashboard, the following error occurs:
 
Unable to subscribe [username]

Cause

The user does not have the correct permissions to be subscribed to the view. The view and download image/PDF permissions are required to be subscribed to a view.
Résolution
Ensure the user has the correct permissions to be subscribed to the view. The user requires the Download Image/PDF and View permissions to be subscribed successfully.
