Scripting and Automating With TSM Commands Every Few Minutes May Overwhelm the Memory Resources of the Server on 16GB

When scripting and automating with TSM commands (e.g. "tsm status") every few minutes, a large number of processes called "Zulu Platform x64 Architecture" may remain running and overwhelm the memory resources of the server. Restarting the OS can resolve this issue. However when running the script, the issue will occur again.

Cause
This issue is related to the state of the OS and it may occur when it's out of memory.
Løsning
Option 1
Reduce the frequency of running tsm commands.
Option 2
Increase the memory. For recommended baseline configuration please see Minimum production hardware recommendations or Hardware recommendations for production installations.

When identifying this out-of-memory issue, also check the system logs. For Windows, please view Windows Event Viewer Log Files (Application) or the JVM crash log files (C:\windows\system32\hs_err_pid*.log).
Tableau is using Zulu Platform Architecture x64 as the normal Java process.
The process name can be found from the [Properties] of the process in Windows Task Manager. Or right-click on any column in the list, then click and display the "Command line".
