When editing an existing published Tableau Prep flow with an embedded Google Drive data source that had connection credentials embedded when previously published, the following error occurs:

Tableau needs an unexpired OAuth refresh token to connect to the data. Ask your database administrator to issue a refresh token, then try again.

Cause

Connection credentials need to be added again when editing an existing Tableau Prep flow.
Ratkaisu
Workaround
To avoid having to enter your Google Drive credentials every time you edit a published Prep flow, publish the Google Drive data source to Tableau Cloud separately (e.g. Home > New > Published Data Source) and then use this data source as the input for the Prep flow instead.
