Live Connection Data Source In Private Network Is Not Displayed In The Bridge Client After Publishing To Online

Description

After publishing a live connection data source via Tableau Bridge, the newly added data source is not listed in the Tableau Bridge client.

However, the published data source can be successfully connected to the database in the private network via Tableau Bridge and the user can access the data source from Tableau Cloud.

Cause

This is an expected behavior that changed starting with Tableau Bridge 2021.4 and Tableau Cloud 2021.4.
Résolution
Please confirm the data source from Tableau Cloud.
