Tableau Server cannot start normally because some processes (backgrounder/data server) cannot start correctly and an UNLICENSED error is shown.

Cause

If using a core license, the core licensing key and the allowed number of cores must meets the current system configuration.
Løsning

Option 1

Deactivate the core-based license to see if the issue gets resolved.

Option 2

Add the required core-based license key to meet requirements.

Option 3

Remove the additional worker node(s) to meet the current figuration capacity.
