Error: "An Error Occurred While Communicating With Data Source 'Extract' [SQLSTATE:57014] cancelled. DataServiceFailure"

Description

When loading a view, the error displays:

     "Unable to proceed because of an error from the data source."
     "An error occurred while communicating with data source 'Extract'
     [SQLSTATE:57014] cancelled.
     DataServiceFailure". 
 

Cause

Memory-intensive requests to the Tableau Server Data Engine (Hyper) are terminated due to insufficient memory or exceeding the global memory threshold. 
Résolution

Option 1

Review the complexity of the dashboard or view to determine if further optimization can be completed.

Option 2

Review overall memory utilization to determine if there is a need to increase memory.
