Description

When accessing a workbook on Tableau Server hosted on Azure cloud, the workbook fails to load and the following error messages might occur: 

Unknown Server Error
'An unexpected error occurred. If you continue to receive this error please contact your Tableau Server Administrator.'
Or
"504 Gateway timeout"

Cause

The connection to Azure gateway times out due to timeout settings in the Azure gateway.
Résolution
Check with the IT team or the system administrator and increase the timeout value on the Azure gateway.
