The Virtual Connection is greyed out on Tableau Server.

Cause

Tableau Server was using Core licensing only and there was no Creator license activated.
Ratkaisu
The Data Management Add-on license and at least one Creator user license needs to be activated on Tableau Server for the Virtual Connection option to be available. 
Lisäresurssit
  • If a Creator license has been purchased for your Tableau Server, obtain the license from the Tableau Customer Portal and activate the license, then restart Tableau Server.  
  • If no Creator licenses have been purchased, please contact your Tableau Account Team.
