When attempting to run refresh extract in Tableau Server, the following error may occur:
 
This job failed on xxx after running for 60.1 min because of: java.lang.RuntimeException: [Cloudera][ImpalaODBC] (120) Error while retrieving data from in Impala: [HY000] : Query xxx expired due to execution time limit of 1h

Cause

The EXEC_TIME_LIMIT_S query option configured in Impala defines a time limit on query execution. If a query is executing when the time limit expires, it is automatically canceled. 
Risoluzione
Please work with the Impala database administrator to reconfigure EXEC_TIME_LIMIT_S query option to allow the long query execution.
