Tableau Desktop encountered the following error when publishing the workbook to Tableau Server that personal space is disabled:
Unable to complete action
An error occurred when publishing the workbook.
Error Code:0xC926DA9F
An unknown error related to remote content was detected (500)
This was a known issue W-13827661, resolved in Tableau Server 2023.1.6.
Upgrade to Tableau Server 2023.1.6 or later.
It is possible to publish after performing the following steps to enable Personal Space temporarily:
1. Enable Personal Space
2. Publish the workbook by each user (do this for all users having the issue)
3. Disable Personal Space
Users will be able to publish workbooks after the above steps. Please to the Online help for details on Personal Space.
