Error "HybridDialog JS is not responding across webchannel. Aborting show. Error Code: 2B2D38E4" on Tableau Desktop

Описание
When publishing workbooks from Tableau Desktop,  listing the database servers, or searching in the Data Dialog window,  the following errors can display:

HybridDialog JS is not responding across webchannel. Aborting show
Error Code: 2B2D38E4

Cause

This issue have several causes:
  • Anti-virus software
  • Citrix API hooks
  • Publishing a workbook that includes a large number of worksheets or high complexity in the workbook
Решение

Option 1 

Work with your IT Team to test turning off a third-party security software.  If this test removes the error, then add an exception or safe list for tableau.exe.  This is the most popular solution verified by customers.

Option 2

If using Citrix, work with a Citrix Admin to update the Citrix API hooks for the exclusion of QtWebEngineProcess.exe and tableau.exe.

Option 3

Test publishing from another environment with more resources to determine if the complexity or the amount of sheets is causing the issue due to hardware being under powered.

Attempt to upload the workbook to a site instead of publishing. For more information, see Upload Workbooks to a Tableau Site.
