Description

Publishing a workbook that has the older TDE extract format to Tableau Cloud or Tableau Server (version 2023.1 and newer) from Tableau Desktop displays the error:

Cause

Support for TDE extract format is being retired in favor of Hyper formatted extracts
Résolution
Convert the TDE to a Hyper extract and try to publish again.
