Error "Google Drive has rejected this request because of insufficient permissions" When Refreshing Extract

Description

When refreshing a published extract, the following error may occur:

Unable to connect to data source with the supplied credentials, or no credentials provided. Tableau needs an unexpired OAuth refresh token to connect to the data. Authorize refresh tokens or ask the datasource owner for help. Google Drive has rejected this request because of insufficient permissions.

Cause

The Google Drive API for the project used by the connection is disabled.
Résolution
  1. Go to Google Cloud APIs & Services Developer Console 
  2. Enable the Google Drive API for all projects in the drop-down menu.
