Error: “Internet communication error: A redirect will change a non-secure to a secure connection” When Publishing a Workbook to Tableau Server

When attempting to publish a workbook to Tableau Server, the following error might occur:
“Internet communication error: A redirect request will change a non-secure to a secure connection.

Cause

This message displays because Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) may have been recently implemented on the server machine you are trying to publish a workbook to. SSL helps secure access to the application and the information passed between Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop.
Ratkaisu
Modify the Internet Properties settings on your machine to disable the warning dialog box when switching between non-secure and secure connections: 
  1. Click the Start button, and then select Control Panel > Internet Options. 
  2. Click the Advanced tab, and scroll down to the bottom of the list of options.
  3. Clear the selection for “Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode”, and click OK.
