Date Format Differs Between Server and Desktop

Description
When a workbook is published to Tableau Server, the date fields are formatted differently then they are when viewing the workbook in Tableau Desktop. 
For example : Tableau Desktop shows DD/MM/YYYY and Tableau Server interprets as MM/DD/YYYY.
Resolution
1. Verify that the OS date format of the computer running Tableau Desktop is the same as that of the computer(s) running Tableau Server.
2. Verify the locale settings in Tableau Desktop is the same as the settings on Tableau Server.
