"Error FAB9A2C5 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Cannot generate SSPI context" Occurs When Connecting to Azure Synapse Analytics via OAuth from Tableau Desktop

Issue

The below error occurs when connecting to Azure Synapse Analytics:

An error occurred while communicating with Azure Synapse Analytics
Unable to connect to the server. Check that the server is running and that you have access privileges to the requested database. 
Error Code: FAB9A2C5

An unknown connection error has occurred in the database. The following error message provides additional information, but you may need to ask your database administrator to review the database logs.
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Cannot generate SSPI context. 
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed.
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Invalid connection string attribute.
Unable to connect to Azure Synapse Analytics server "XXXXXXX". Check that the server is running and that you have access privileges to the requested database.

The below error was found in log.txt from Tableau Desktop:

dse-type : BadOAuthCredentials
excp-msg : Tableau needs an unexpired OAuth refresh token to connect to the data. Accept the renewal token or ask the data source owner for support.

Cause

Azure Active Directory token expired.
