This error occurs when accessing or publishing content in the Enhanced CMS Workspace (also known as Digital Experiences CMS). The root cause is typically a missing page layout assignment for the Managed Content object in the org.

Error Details

When accessing Enhanced CMS Workspace content you may see the error: 'This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. First, would you give us some details? (We're reporting this as error ID: 789415831)'.
When publishing Enhanced CMS Workspace content you may see the error: 'Sorry to interrupt' - Undefined.

Steps to Resolve

This issue usually occurs if there is no page layout assigned for the Managed Content object. Follow the steps below to fix the issue:

  1. Open any CMS content in Enhanced CMS Workspace (it can be an image, document, or news item).
  2. Click on Setup (gear icon on top right corner of the screen) and click on Edit Object.
  3. Click on Page Layouts.
  4. Click on Page Layout Assignment.
  5. Click on Edit Assignment.
  6. Select the profile and look for 'Page Layout To Use:' and click on '-- Select Page Layout --'.
  7. Select Managed Content Layout and Save it.
