Description
The following error may occur when saving workbook as twbx file.

Unable to complete action Save workbook failed.

An unexpected error occurred saving the packaged workbook.

The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Cause

The original data source file is being used by another process.
Résolution

Option 1

Check if the Excel file used as data source is being used by another process. Close the other processes.

Option  2

Replace the data source with a copy.
  1. Copy the Excel file used as data source and save it under an other name.
  2. Open the workbook and go to the Data menu, then select New Data Source from the drop-down menu. Browse to the copy of the Excel file.
  3. Replace the data source following the steps in Replace Data Sources.

Option 3

Change the live connection to an Extract to have the workbook connect to the extract (.hyper) file. Save the workbook again.
