Cannot connect to a Snowflake server with an underscore in the domain account's server name.
Connecting to a Snowflake server with an underscore in the domain account's server name is not allowed in Tableau.
The issue is due to compliance with RFC 2396, which does not allow underscores in domain names. So, it is not a limitation with Tableau, but a limitation with java and the java libraries.
Snowflake is aware of these limitations and has resolved it by creating a dashed version of the URL as well. See this Snowflake documentation: Account Identifiers.
As a workaround, replace the "_" with a "-" in the URL and it should still work.
For example, instead of using tableau_test.snowflakecomputing.com to connect from Tableau, use tableau-test.snowflakecomputing.com.
See this Snowflake documentation: Account Identifiers.
