Error "An unexpected error occurred" Attempting to Delete or Edit Refresh Schedule

When using the Tableau Serve or Online UI to edit or delete a daily or hourly extract refresh schedule which was created via REST API in Tableau 2020.1 or earlier, the following error occurs: 

An unexpected error occurred

Cause

This behavior is related to a known issue with ID 1110236 which is fixed in a recent version of Tableau Server.
솔루션

For Tableau Server, upgrade to 2020.2.1 or later.

As a workaround,

  1. Create a new schedule with the settings you wanted to use for the existing schedule. 
  2. Navigate to the old schedule and check the boxes to select all items which were being refreshed on that schedule.
  3. Under Actions, choose Change Schedule and select the schedule you just created. 
  4. Delete the old schedule if possible and desired.
