Description

When creating a new refresh schedule "Error: An unexpected error occurred while scheduling the refresh. Error code: 120024" occurs.

Cause

This error is by design. It is not possible to schedule an extract refresh for a data source or workbook published in your personal space. See the details in this Help article linked below.

Create and Edit Private Content in Personal Space:  Extract refreshes in Personal Space

Résolution
As a workaround try the following:

Move the content to a different project outside of the personal space and then schedule the extract refresh.
