Error "Message size limit reached" When Creating Extract

When creating an extract, the following error occurs:

Error Code: 4E1452E8
Message size limit reached. Ensure that your queries don't return rows that are greater than 1MB in size.
Unable to create extract

Cause

The gRPC (Google Remote Procedure Call) message size limit for the JDBC server in Tableau applications has been reached.
Ratkaisu
Try the following workarounds:

Option 1

Reduce the number of fields in the extract. For example, when creating the extract, in the Extract Data dialog box, click the 'Hide All Unused Fields' button, before clicking 'OK'.

Option 2

Work with your DBA team to clean the data in the affected table(s), so that each row is no more than 1 MB.
