Error "hyper_execute_query: 0 canceled DataServiceFailure" Occurred When Viewing Dashboard or During Extract Refresh on Tableau Server

The following error occurred when viewing a dashboard, changing the filter, or during the extract refresh on Tableau Server:

An error occurred while communicating with data source 'xxx'
[xxxx] hyper_execute_query: 0 canceled
DataServiceFailure

or

[xxxx] hyper_execute_query: 0 Could not execute the given query.
The result status code is 7.
canceled

 

Cause

It is possible the Hyper process is being restarted because of the insufficient RAM.
 

Ratkaisu

Check the system resource/memory usage and increase Tableau Server's RAM.

The following message can be found in the Tableau Server Hyper log just before the error occurred:
