Parameter Action Only Triggering After Two Clicks

Description

A parameter action is not triggering on the first click when used on dashboard with a filter action also being used.

Cause

When a filter action and a parameter action share a source sheet where the filter action runs on "Selection",  the selection does not clear from other dashboard interactions.  As a result, if the mark is already selected it must be clicked twice to trigger the parameter action again.
Résolution
As a workaround, change the trigger for the filter action from "Select" to "Hover" or "Menu".  For more information on adjusting filter actions, please review the Tableau Online Help.

Where there is no filter action triggered, the parameter action works consistently on a single click.
