How to send files to Tableau Technical Support.
Files up to 2GB each may be attached directly to your support case during case creation or in an ongoing case. Larger files may be transferred to Tableau Technical Support in two ways:
If you are sending a log archive, you may send Log Snapshots via TSM to Tableau Support from the Tableau Server instance.
Note: If your case number is eight digits starting with 0, this is a legacy Tableau case number. Please ask your support engineer for the nine digit case number to use with the "send-logs" command.
Ask for an Egnyte upload link from your Technical Support Engineer once the case has been assigned. Use the provided link to upload files directly to the case.
Egynte will accept files up to 25GB each. If the file is larger than 25GB, use a file splitting utility to split the file into multiple parts smaller than 25GB. More details regarding Egnyte's upload links can be found here.
