Effect of Status Field Label Changes on Case Feed Functionality

When the 'Enable Case Feed Actions and Feed Items' option is enabled in Support Settings in Salesforce, renaming the default 'Status' field label will prevent status change updates from appearing in the Case Feed. If the Status field label is changed to any value other than the default out-of-the-box name, the system will no longer log status updates in the Case Feed.

Ratkaisu

To restore Case Feed status logging, revert the Status field label to its original default value. To do this, navigate to Setup > Object Manager > Case > Fields & Relationships > Status, and change the Field Label back to 'Status'. Once the field label matches the default, status changes will resume logging in the Case Feed.
