Einstein Automated Contacts Retirement

Udgivelsesdato: May 2, 2024
Beskrivelse

Salesforce is retiring Einstein Automated Contacts on February 15, 2025. We recommend that you use Automatic Contact Creation to build content-rich profiles for all your contacts.

We’re retiring Einstein Automated Contacts because Salesforce is focusing development on Automatic Contact Creation in the future.

What does this change mean for me?

After February 15, 2025, Einstein Automated Contacts will no longer be available, and these items will no longer be available.

  • App Launcher: Einstein Contact Suggestions and Einstein Opportunity Contact Role Suggestions items

  • Contact list view: Added by Einstein

  • Custom reports: suggestion data

  • Data: contact and opportunity contact role suggestions and feedback

  • Home page: suggestion data and feedback

  • Objects: ContactSuggestionInsight and OpportunityContactRoleSuggestionInsight

  • Setup: Einstein Automated Contacts settings (Developer names ADEAutoCreateOpportunityContactRolePref and ADEOpportunityContactRole)

  • User permission: Automated Data Entry permission in the Sales Cloud Einstein permission sets

What action can I take?

We recommend setting up Automatic Contact Creation so you can take advantage of the new features. Contact your account executive and refer to the Summer ’24 release note for more details.

Before February 15, 2025, update any continuous integrations or integration with Einstein Automated Contacts to maintain continuity for your business flows. Also, review field-level security for accounts, contacts, and opportunities to ensure it reflects the appropriate user access.

What happens if I don’t take action?
After February 15, 2025, Einstein Automated Contacts and related items stop appearing in the app. To continue driving user productivity on Salesforce, we recommend you implement Automatic Contact Creation.

How do I identify affected users?

Look for users who are assigned the Sales Cloud Einstein user permission set. The permission set includes the Automated Data Entry permission that is associated with Einstein Automated Contacts.
