Files Connect can be set up to allow Google files from workspaces to be viewed directly in Salesforce. This integration also works with Experience Cloud sites, allowing users to access shared content once they authorize their Google account in the Google Workspace.
The creation of this integration requires an app to be used within Google. Some scenarios, like requests for access within an Experience Cloud site, have been seen by Google to require verification, as they are a "user-facing app." This option for verification will be available to Google workspace administrators under the "OAuth consent screen" for your API or Service in the Google Cloud Project console. While your app is in the verification process, users will see a warning stating the app is not verified.
Work with Google services to verify the app. Users can bypass the warning by clicking Advanced, then the bottom link with the text "Go to <Your App Name>"
