Proactive Monitoring June 2024 Changes   
 
Available for: Signature Success Plan tenants for select products.

On June 7, 2024, the updated Proactive Monitoring smart alert experience will be available. The new rich-text based email format will highlight alert specifics, improving readability and making it easier to take action.

Proactive support cases will now only be created for Critical and Exhaust alerts. Critical alerts indicate an urgent change in health metrics and Exhaust alerts indicate the metric being monitored has breached the limit.

These changes may prompt a need for customers to update downstream processes to ensure operations are not affected:
  • Updated case creation behavior: Proactive Monitoring alerts will automatically create cases for Critical and Exhaust alerts only. For Warning alerts, cases can still be created on Salesforce Help as needed.

  • Updated subject lines and alert content: Proactive Monitoring alert emails will include details in the subject line, for example, “CRITICAL - Salesforce Proactive Monitoring Alert - [Alert ID] - [Customer Name] - [Tenant ID] - [Alert Name]”


Customers should review these changes and work with their team to avoid any disruptions in their systems.
