Data 360: Contact Point Email and Contact Point Phone not available in Direct/Related attributes of an activation

By design, users can only activate default properties from the DMOs associated with channels. For example:

 

  • Contact Point Email automatically activates Email Address
  • Contact Point Phone automatically activates Formatted E164 Phone Number and Country

 

When creating an activation, if a user selects the Email channel, it automatically includes the Email Address attribute. They cannot choose additional Contact Point Email attributes because the DMO will not appear in any of the attribute sections (Direct or Related).


The same logic applies to the Phone channel with its Formatted E164 Phone Number and Country fields. Contact Point Address, however, will appear because it is not associated with any channels.

Solución

To activate other attributes, users can map the desired fields to a different DMO and select them from that DMO.
