Sales Cadence does not capture email replies

  • Certain words or character combinations are treated as replies from automated activity instead of actual replies. This means they are ignored from reply detection and thus do not get processed as Engagements/Cadence.

Few are some example scenarios for which email reply will not be tracked:
Example 1:

  1. Create a Cadence which sends an automated email when a Target is added.
  2. Add a target lead with email address(Make sure email address should have more than 5 digits), Ex: firstname.lastname123456@domainname.com / firstname12345678@domainname.com
  3.  When this target replies to the email, the reply will not be tracked by the cadence as the email handle <firstname.lastname123456@domainname.com>  contains more than 5 digits.

Example 2:

  1. Send an email through cadence to a user with the email address containing 'service' phrase in email handle.
  2. For example, send an email through cadence to email address - tp.refservices@domainname.com
  3.  When a reply is received from this email- tp.refservices@domainname.com  the reply will not be tracked by the cadence as this email handle contains 'service' keyword,  also email addresses like noreply@domain.com or do-not-reply@domain.com, will not be tracked as well as email handles containing terms such as admin, support, or no-reply. This ensures that automated or system-generated replies are excluded from engagement tracking, beyond just addresses with numbers or the word service.

Note:  Email addresses such as noreply@domain.com or do-not-reply@domain.com, as well as handles containing terms like admin, support, or no-reply, are excluded. This ensures that automated or system-generated replies are not counted in engagement tracking, beyond just filtering addresses with numbers or the word service.
