Salesforce Advanced Lookup Search UI Changes in Spring '25 (Aura to LWC Migration)

Description
In the Spring '25 release, Salesforce introduced UI changes to the Lookup Search experience as part of the Aura to Lightning Web Components (LWC) modal migration. The updated UI is called Advanced Search and replaces the previous Aura-based Lookup Search modal.

Résolution
In the Spring '25 release, Salesforce migrated the Lookup Search modal from Aura to Lightning Web Components (LWC). This change introduces the following four UI differences in the Advanced Lookup Search:
- The title has changed to Advanced Search when a user searches in Lookup Search.
- Clickable field name column headers for sorting search results are no longer available. Records are now sorted by relevance.
- A new record selection method has been introduced using Radio Buttons — users select a record by clicking its radio button rather than its title link.
- Because radio buttons are used for selection, the clickable link for the record title is no longer available.
- Additional details about this change:
- This change is part of the broader Aura to LWC Modal migration announced in the previous release cycle.
- Advanced Lookup Search supports up to 200 results.
- The search input field is now a simple text search field. Pagination and column sorting are no longer supported.
- The Create New record option that was available in the previous Aura-based Lookup Search modal is not available in the new Advanced Search LWC modal due to the design change.
