RLM Error 'We couldn't add the product to Quote because the product doesn't have a price'

When adding a Product to a Quote in RLM, you may get an error 'We couldn't add the product to Quote because the product doesn't have a price. Ask your Salesforce admin for help.' This error can occur even if the Product you are trying to add has a Price set up via Price Book Entry. 

Ratkaisu

To resolve the issue, below are setup settings to confirm to make sure that pricing is working as expected: 

1. Make sure that the Product is added to the Pricebook associated with the Quote, and the Price Book is active. Ensure that Product Option has Product Selling Model Option defined. You can determine Quote's Pricebook by running the below query:

      Select id, pricebook2id from quote where id = 'YOUR_QUOTE_ID'

2. Check what default pricing procedure is being used (Setup | Salesforce Pricing Setup). Pricing Procedure cannot be blank.

3. Try simulating the Pricing via used Pricing Procedure, make sure that the expected price is returned. If the Simulation doesn't return the expected price, make the required changes to the Pricing Procedure and try again.
