Enable Platform Integration for Education Cloud Permission Set Licenses

• When attempting the steps in the next section where permissions on the Data 360 Salesforce Connector permission set need to be updated, you encounter the error detailed in the article Data 360: Error Assigning Permissions in Data 360 Connector (Licensing Issue).
• To resolve, navigate to Setup > Search Company Information > Click Go to list under Permission Set Licenses.
• Click on the License that is associated with the object mentioned in the error and then select Enable for Integrations.
  • For example, if you encounter this error while attempting to enable permissions for the Learner Program Object, which is an Education licensed object, you should follow the above steps for the Education license. The Education license could be either Education Cloud - Full Access or Education Cloud - Limited Access.

Update Permissions on Data 360 Salesforce Connector

• Open the Data 360 Salesforce Connector permission set.
• Go to the System permissions.
• Search for below permissions and set the checkbox as true/provide the access.
  • Access Education Cloud Components - Gives users access to Education components.
  • Access Education Cloud Objects - Gives users access to Education objects.
  • Access Education Cloud Review Features - Gives users access to Education application review features.
• Grant Read and View All Records permissions in Object Settings for all Education objects listed in Education Cloud Standard Objects.
