Use the Consumer Goods release calendar to plan your testing and feature adoption.
NOTE: This information is subject to change as needed to ensure proper functionality for updates. We recommend upgrading to the latest version as soon as possible to avoid any existing issues and for quicker resolution of any unforeseen errors.
Aligning with the Salesforce release timelines, new versions of Consumer Goods Cloud processing service (CGPS) are automatically available in sandbox. You have approximately 5 weeks to test the new CGPS version in your sandbox. Test the latest version of the integration APIs. In addition, we also support the earlier version of integration APIs for uninterrupted experience. After the new CGPS version is available in production, the production org connects to the latest CGPS.

To ensure a complete and successful upgrade to a Consumer Goods Cloud release, update all these Consumer Goods Cloud components, which are always part of a major release:
Consumer Goods Cloud Managed Package
Consumer Goods Cloud Mobile Sync Package
Consumer Goods Cloud mobile app
Consumer Goods Cloud Visual Studio Code Based Modeler Design Contracts
Visual Studio Code Based Modeler CLI
Consumer Goods Cloud Modeler packages:
Modeler Update Package (MUP)
Framework Update Package (FUP)
Modeler Content Package (MCP)
NOTE: The packages installed are different when you’re installing the Consumer Cloud components for the first time.
Before you install Consumer Goods Cloud on the production org, we recommend you to install and test the package on a non-production org (sandbox). Reproducing issues in a sandbox speeds up the Salesforce support process. Sandboxes are key for upgrade checks, bug fixes, and ensuring compatibility.
To upgrade the CG Cloud mobile app, download the latest version from the Apple App Store or Google PlayStore.
Consumer Goods releases patches periodically. See the Consumer Goods Patch Release Calendar for details.
