A new red banner message displays on the Account Engagement Dashboard page letting the user know how many critical issues are impacting their account and require remediation. The message reads as “XX configuration issues are blocking full access to Account Engagement features. View issue in Optimizer” (where “XX” dynamically displays the number of issues listed in the ‘Configuration Issues’ table on the Optimizer page for that account). Admins can follow the link to the Optimizer page where they can review the ‘Configuration Issues’ table that lists the critical setup problems, along with steps to resolve and links to supporting documentation.
Below are some frequently asked questions about this change:
Have I lost access to part of Account Engagement?
No, you can still access Account Engagement. However, fixing these configuration issues will allow an optimal experience in Account Engagement.
I didn’t make any recent changes to our account, why am I seeing this banner message now?
This banner was added as part of the Summer ‘24 release as another way to alert users to important configuration issues in their account.
What actions need to be taken by an Account Engagement admin?
On the Optimizer page, admins can review the ‘Configuration Issues’ table that lists the critical setup problems, along with steps to resolve and links to supporting documentation.
What happens if I don’t resolve the listed configuration issues?
You will continue to see the red banner and there could be impacts to your account’s health, depending on the configuration issues.
I’m not an Account Engagement admin but I’m seeing this warning, what do I do?
Only admins and custom users with the “View Optimizer” permission are able to view the Optimizer. If you’re a non-admin you’ll see a message that states “# configuration issues are blocking full access to Account Engagement features. Ask your Account Engagement admin to resolve these issues.” Please reach out to your Account Engagement admin and ask them to review the configuration issues.
From the red banner, admins can follow a link to the Optimizer page where they can review the ‘Configuration Issues’ table that lists the critical setup problems, along with steps to resolve and links to supporting documentation. They will be removed from the table once the necessary changes have been made to resolve the issues, but keep in mind the table can take up to two hours to update. Once the table clears, the red banner should clear as well.
