Some Database Connectors are Missing in Apple Silicon version of Tableau Desktop and Prep Builder

With the 2024.2  release, Tableau Desktop and Prep Builder will install and run Tableau natively without the use of the Rosetta2 Emulator. See this article for more info.

There are certain database connectors that will not be available in the native Apple Silicon version of 2024.2 as they are currently unsupported. These connectors are as follows:

• Amazon EMR Hadoop Hive

• Apache Drill

• Hortonworks Hadoop Hive

• Kyvos

• Spark SQL

• Pivotal Greenplum Database
