List View Couldn’t Load with Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Udgivelsesdato: Jul 29, 2024
Beskrivelse

Beginning in Winter ’25, list views typically render with Salesforce’s newest framework, Lightning Web Components (LWC). In some cases though, a list view renders with Aura. For example, some objects don’t support rendering with LWC. A notification alerts you when your list view renders with Aura.

Possible Causes

  • Lookup fields: If a list view includes a lookup to an entity that the UI API doesn’t support, then the list view is rendered with Aura.

  • Maintenance mode: If your org is in maintenance mode, then all list views are rendered with Aura.

Affected Features

To work as expected, some list view features require LWC. When a list view renders with Aura, these features work differently than expected or not at all.

  • Sort by Multiple Columns

    • You can’t configure sort by multiple columns when a list view renders with Aura.

    • If a list view that was previously sorted by multiple columns renders with Aura, the list view retains the multiple column sorting. However, visual indicators, such as the status info above the records and the sort arrows at the top of the columns, show only the first sorted column. If you click any column, your list view resets to single column sorting. You can’t re-sort the list view by multiple columns until the list view renders with LWC.
