Unable to Create/Edit the events from automation user

Despite having the "Edit Events," "Edit Tasks," and "View All Activities" permissions assigned to the automation user profile, the automation user is still unable to create or edit events and getting the following error:

 Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_ON_CROSS_REFERENCE_ENTITY, insufficient access rights on cross-reference id: []

Lösning

Salesforce currently does not permit the automation process user to create or own event records. Please use a different user to create and edit events.
