Data 360 has two different license types. Each license type has different billing, limits, and feature availability. If you're unsure which type applies to you, you can work with your Salesforce Administrator to view the license attached to your permission sets.
If you see Customer Data Platform, you have the Customer Data Platform (CDP) license.
If you see Data 360, you have the Data 360 license.
NOTE: If you see both licenses, you may have recently moved from the CDP sku/license to the Data 360 SKU/License. In this case you can assume you are on the Data 360 license.
For Customer Data Platform, see Customer Data Platform Billable Usage Calculations. This is sometimes referred to as "Profile-based pricing" or "Profile-based consumption". The billing method here focuses on number of Profiles, Segment publishes, and Engagement Events.
For Data 360, see Data 360 Billable Usage Types. This is sometimes referred to as "Consumption-based SKUs" or "Credit-consumption SKUs". The billing method here is based on Data Services Credits which have a different multiplier per usage type and pool from one pool of credits for your account. Multipliers can be found at Multipliers for Data 360.
For the different limits for Customer Data Platform, please see Customer Data Platform Limits and Guidelines
