Description

Depending on when a yearly repeating, recurring event series in Salesforce Lightning Experience is scheduled to start can affect how many occurrences (Event records) are initially created for the series.

Résolution
  • Recurring event series created within Salesforce that are scheduled to start within the next 14 days can create two additional initial occurrences, one on each of the subsequent two consecutive years.
    • For example, if Today is 01/01/2024 and a recurring event series is created to start on 01/05/2024 (within next 14 days) with yearly repeated pattern then next and second occurrence will be created on 01/05/2025  and a third occurrence will show on 01/05/2026.
  • Recurring event series created in Salesforce beyond next 14 days with yearly repeated pattern creates a initial occurrence only.
    • For example, Today is 01/01/2024 and a recurring event series is created starting on 01/16/2024 (after next 14 days) then only initial occurrence will be initially created.
