Data Cloud Reports have different scale and precision compared to other Data Cloud Features

Publish Date: Aug 25, 2025
Description

If you create a Data Transform with scale and precision of 4 and 10 based on the settings in the Transform formula node, an example output number should be something like 12345.1234. However, when you create a Data Cloud Report on the output DMO, the scale and precision will be changed and you will see six decimal places in the Report, such as 12345.123400. If you look at this number in Data Explorer you will see 12345.12.

Resolution

As a workaround, you can create a formula field on the reports and set the scale and precision according to your requirements.
