When refreshing a Full Copy Sandbox, OmniStudio components are only included if the 'All Objects' option is selected during the refresh process. These components are not automatically copied to the following:
1. Developer
2. Developer Pro
3. Partial Copy Sandboxes.
It's also important to note that OmniStudio objects cannot be selected in Sandbox Templates, limiting control over their inclusion during template-based refreshes.
To deploy OmniStudio components after Sandbox creation/refresh, enable the OmniStudio Metadata API to export and deploy components via the Salesforce CLI.
The OmniStudio Runtime Settings determine the runtime for executing OmniStudio components. However, these settings do not affect the inclusion of components during sandbox creation or refresh.
To ensure OmniStudio components are included, either select the 'All Objects' option during a Full Copy Sandbox refresh or use one of the following deployment tools:
IDX Workbench / VBT
SFDX CLI, provided OmniStudio Metadata is enabled in both source and target orgs.
