When implementing Messaging for Web (MIAW), customers may find that the chat button is not visible on the site, and the browser developer console displays the error: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS (302 error code). This is caused by IP range restrictions configured on the Guest User Profile for the Experience Site used by MIAW."
Why does this happen?
If login IP ranges are defined for the Guest User Profile on this Site, it will only ALLOW the users from those respective IP's to initiate MIAW chat. Any user's IP not listed will not be allowed to initiate MIAW chat and will see "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS (302 error code)" in the console.
Note : Default LWR Site that gets created for Messaging for Web should be left Untouched.
Review the Guest User Profile for the Experience Site associated with your Messaging for Web deployment.
Navigate to Setup > Profiles > Guest User Profile > Login IP Ranges, and remove or adjust the IP range restrictions to allow all users to access the site.
