Following an Org Refresh or bot deployment, you may encounter an issue where the "Activate Bot" button is disabled, displaying the following error message:
"An error has occurred. Bot Version cannot be activated."
This issue typically occurs after an Org Refresh or a bot deployment from a sandbox. It is caused by a metadata synchronisation issue where the bot version's internal state becomes out of sync with the org's Einstein Bot configuration. Toggling the Bots feature off and on forces a re-synchronisation.
