When following the steps in the article below to enable Omni Mobile for your agents,

you might encounter the following error while assigning the "Message on Mobile" app permission:

Can’t assign permission set 'Omni Inbox' to user 'user_name.' The user license doesn’t allow the permission: Message on Mobile.

 

Solución

License Pre-Requisites : Messaging User Permission Set License


You can follow the steps outlined in this article to view the permission set licenses present in your org

If the license is not present in the list, then please reach out to your Account Executive to get the license provisioned in the production org. 

  • Once the license is provisioned in the org, then create a Permission Set for the user and assign the App Permission to the user.

If it's a sandbox, then you will have to match the production licenses to sandbox.
