Service Resource records in Salesforce Field Service represent individual service technicians, crews, or equipment. Attempting to delete a Service Resource record results in an error or is blocked, as deletion of Service Resource records is not supported by the Salesforce platform. If a resource is no longer active, the recommended action is to deactivate the record rather than delete it.
Deletion of Service Resource records is not supported by the Salesforce platform. Instead, deactivate the Service Resource record by unchecking the 'Active' field on the record. For the full list of supported API calls on the Service Resource object, see the Service Resource Object Reference
